Let me now take you to the past where only

One-on-one interview process used to happen directly in a face to face interview, 

This process takes place even now but employers/companies are using other mediums to hire candidates worldwide. 

Mediums like Video conferencing interview were set of panelist will conduct interview sitting at various parts of the world, Video chat and Video calling has become normal in hiring process where humans intervention is added This popularly used to happen via Skype,

But now we have other webinar platforms like Any meeting, Zoom, Go to Webinar and many more. 

As of now we are not going to talk about these technologies we are going to talk about the latest version where Robots are hiring candidates. 

In my previous post I had mentioned how Robot’s are using AI technology to Screen Candidates resume using ATS software –  Robotic based AI Screening using ATS technology 

Now Lets see how this Robots are hiring candidates

Robots are given certain commands by human hiring managers and by using these commands Robots will evaluate humans (Candidates applied for jobs) based on certain parameters, Just like AI based screening here Robots are using AI technology to test humans and output the result whether they are fit for the particular job role or not. 

Lets now meet humanoid Russian based Robot named Vera who hires candidates for  multinational Companies across countries. 

Robot Vera can make hundreds of calls simultaneously and interviews candidates via calls or video chat. It then narrows down the selection to 10 per cent most eligible candidates before zeroing-one on the final candidate.

The robotic interview process scans the candidates’ personality traits, uses integrated videos for virtual face- to-face interviews and also employs live videos for real-time engagement and notification for better candidate management.

To begin with the AI-enabled chatbot screens, updates on a real-time basis and takes the applicant through a slew of steps before the final hiring. The chatbot’s role ends with an SMS to the parents of the selected person.

Even the offer letter is sent out by the chatbot,

This happened for the first time in India by the Federal Bank where Only machines talk and 50% of the candidates were selected and the rest were rejected based on various parameters. 

So how to Face robots? 

  • Key factor is understanding your Job role – 

Since Employers expect candidates who are best fit for a particular job role they upload parameters in such a way that Robots consider only such factors. So always keep job role in your mind from the time of designing content for your resume till you get placed in that company even after getting placed it becomes important to understand job role in a better way 

 

  • Don’t take the hiring robot light 

 

Robots are performing the task assigned by a human manager and everything which is dealt with a robot will be noticed by a hiring manager and these Robots are AI Tech based Robots who can answer questions more than a chatbot which is rigid, These robots have capability to think and process any candidate so it is important to know that Do not take robots light.

 

  • Robots are more sensitive than humans so deal a bit carefully 

 

You must remember human’s at one point of time can be convinced but Robots are not like that. Once something is assigned to them they do it rigidly and there is no flexibility in their decision so while dealing with Robots it is better to behave like a machine instead of a human. 

 

  • Stay calm like you attend a normal interview. 

 

Don’t forget to enjoy your interview, just stay calm and nervous free while you are in an interview. 

Be yourself like you are with a hiring manager’s answer to the point and at times these robots can also read your stress and nervousness if mentioned in the parameter consideration list and don’t let this as a negative marking ultimately just be yourself.
